Training help

How each screen works, step by step. On any screen, the ? at the bottom corner opens that screen’s guide, and the ? beside a setting says what it does.

Start here

The whole job, in order, for whoever you are.

  • Start here: running Training
For whoever runs sessions and clinics: from a new club to a week of sessions with children booked, coaches on them and families paying.
  • Start here: coaching
For coaches: joining the club, a session or practice from arriving to handing over, and talking to families.
  • Start here: for parents
From the link your club sent to a booked session or a place on a team, plus adding the other parent and your teenager.

Training

Each screen, what it is for and how to use it.

  • Training home
The club's front page for sessions: what is left to set up, the next sessions on the schedule, and the way to every other screen.
  • Schedule
See every session by week or as a list, add new ones, and open any session to change it, staff it or call it off.
  • Closures
Shut the venue or one space for a holiday or repairs, so no sessions are made or booked into that time.
  • Who coaches what
Put coaches on weekly sessions, or take them off, with one tick each and one save.
  • Who is free when
See which coaches are free on a day, and check who could take a particular time.
  • A coach's hours
Set a coach's weekly hours and one-off days for them, and see their week on a calendar.
  • Today
The sessions you are on for the next seven days, each one tap away from its register.
  • Recording a session
Take the register, rate today's focus skills for each child, and move up anyone ready for their next level.
  • My hours
Say when you can work or are away, every week or on one day, and see it on a calendar with the club's sessions.
  • Open sessions
Sessions other coaches cannot work, or the club has opened, for you to take if you are free.
  • My pay
What the club owes you for each session you coached, how it was worked out, and what has been paid.
  • Placement assessments
Schedule placement assessments, where a coach sees a new child play and gives them a starting level.
  • Placement assessment
Give each child booked on an assessment their starting level, or record that they were not placed or did not come.
  • Requests
Answer the families asking for a spot on a session their child's level does not let them book.
  • Describe your program
Describe your weekly sessions in a sentence or two, check what was heard, and add them to the schedule.

The club’s shared screens

Families, gyms, messages and settings.

  • Families
Find a child, add a family by hand or from a spreadsheet, and open any child's record.
  • A child's record
Correct a child's details, see who is on their record, write to the family and look after their sessions.
  • Import families
Add a whole spreadsheet of children at once, checking every row before anything is written.
  • Facilities
See what is in every court and room this week, add spaces, rent one out and see how much each is used.
  • Messages
Read and answer your conversations with families, each one about one child.
  • A conversation
Read one conversation about a child from start to finish, and reply to it.
  • Club admin
Find a screen by its group, or type a word to narrow the cards.
  • Club history
Read the club's history of changes that matter, and take a full export.
  • Club settings
Rename the club and its places, switch whole parts of the app on or off, add a venue, or close the club.
  • Cover
Answer handover requests, find sessions with nobody on them, record coaches' paperwork and set the cover rules.
  • What you sell
Set up the packs of sessions families can buy online, and stop selling the ones you no longer offer.
  • Payments
Connect the club's own payment account so families can pay online, and see recent payments.
  • Payroll
See what each coach is owed, set their pay rates, and mark each line approved or paid.
  • Profit and loss
See, month by month, what each coach's sessions brought in and what the club owed them.
  • Problems reported
Read what staff and families have reported going wrong, and mark each one dealt with.
  • Public page
Write what your public page says about the club, and get the code to show what is on on your own website.
  • Reports
See attendance and progress for the whole club, and download either as a spreadsheet.
  • Staff
See who works at the club, invite somebody, change what they do, or remove them.
  • Waiver
Write and publish the club's waiver, and see which children have not signed the current version.
