Set up your club
Make a new club in about a minute: its name, the parts you will run, where you play, and the terms.
Do this
- Type the Club name.
- Under What will you use?, tick each part you will run. If you came from a product page, it is already chosen.
- Read Your first session and Share link and time zone. Press Adjust on either to change it, or keep what is there.
- Read the Program Director Terms and tick the box. They are written for clubs and programs.
- Press Create my club.
Club name and share link
The Club name is what parents see. Your share link is the address families use to find you. It starts as the club name written as a web address, and you can change it before you press Create my club. If another club already has it you are told, and nothing is made.
You can rename the club later, in its settings. The share link stays the same for good, because it ends up on flyers and in parents' phones.
The Time zone stays too. It starts as this computer or phone's, and you can choose another. Every session is stored as a moment in time, so changing the zone later would move them all by hours.
So check it matches the club's own. Everything else, like names, can be changed later.
What will you use?
Tick the parts of the club you will run. Each has its own screens, for whoever runs it.
If you came from a product's own page, that part is already chosen. The form names it under You are setting up, and offers the other as an unticked Also set up box. Tick that only if you run both now.
Opened directly, both are ticked to start with, and Create my club stays greyed until at least one is. You can switch the other on later, in the club's settings.
Your first session
With Training ticked, Your first session is one line: its name, day, time, length, spots and place. A new club starts with a Tuesday clinic at 6 PM.
Press Adjust to change What do you call it?, the Day, when it Starts, how many Minutes, Where and Spots. Leave Spots blank for no limit. A session runs from 15 minutes to 8 hours.
The club gets the basketball skill tree, 5 levels and 63 skills, and the next eight weeks of this session on its schedule. Both are yours to edit, and you can add as many weekly sessions as you run.
Describe your program instead
Rather than fill in the form, press Describe my program and say your days, times and place in your own words.
Press Read my description. You see what was heard, one line for each thing. Press Adjust to change a line; a line your words left out opens by itself. Share link and time zone are the same two as above, and neither can be changed once the club is made. Nothing is made until you press Create my club.
Your words are read by Claude, an AI, and only what they state is filled in. Anything left blank is yours to answer.
If your words gave a first or last day, they are filled in under Season dates.
The club and its sessions are made together. If the sessions cannot be set up, no club is made, and you can try again.
Fill it in myself instead brings the form back.
Program Director Terms
The club's owner accepts the Program Director Terms, the agreement written for clubs and programs: children's records, packs, payments and staff. The terms and the Privacy policy are linked beside the box.
The box is never ticked for you, and the club is not made without it.
Here to book for your child?
A parent does not need to set anything up. Open the link your club sent you, and sign in from there.
Common questions
Can I change the club's name later?
Yes, in the club's settings. The share link does not change with it, so the links you handed out keep working.
Does the AI set my club up by itself?
No. It only fills in a form for you to check, and nothing is made until you press Create my club.
Why was I sent here?
You signed in with no club and no children on your account. If you are a parent, open your club's link instead.
Did I have to fill everything in?
No. Every field has a working default, so you can name the club and press Create my club. Change the rest afterwards.
