Teams
Your child's seasons and teams: sign them up, pay, answer for each practice and game, and take on volunteer jobs.
Do this
- Under Sign-ups at your club, fill in the season's form and press the button to sign your child up.
- Pay if the club takes the fee at sign-up, or Ask for help with the fee.
- Offered a place? Press the button to accept it, or Decline, before the date shown.
- For each practice and game, press Coming, Maybe or Not coming.
- If the season asks for volunteer hours, press Take this job for one.
Signing up
Each season taking sign-ups shows when it closes. Choose the Group if asked, then answer what the club asks.
Requests for the team are optional. Brothers and sisters are kept together without asking.
Then press the button to sign your child up.
The club may also ask for an Emergency contact, the practice nights your child can't make, a shirt size and number, a school, or whether they play as a girl or a boy. The nights steer the team; the club tries, and can't promise.
More than one child? Sign them up together does them all at once.
Changed your mind before your child is on a team? Press Take back.
Paying
If the club takes the fee at sign-up, a button pays it on a secure Stripe page to hold the place. If it takes it at the desk, pay within a day to hold the place.
Once your child is on a team, the card shows the fee, what is paid and what is due.
Each instalment has its date. The button pays the next one; Pay everything left pays the rest at once.
A bank payment shows as on its way for a few days. Paying online can add a registration fee to the first payment, and the card says so.
Help with the fee
Open Ask for help with the fee, add a note if you like, and press Ask the club. You can also tick the box while signing up.
Only the people who handle fees see it, not coaches or other families. Your place is held while they decide. If they help, the card says how much it takes off.
A place on a team
When your child is offered a place, the card says so, with the date to answer by. Press the button to accept the place, or Decline.
Once on the team, the card shows the shirt number when the coach gives one, and the teammates where the season shares them.
Coming up
The team's next practices and games, with the day and time. A league game's name says where it is played.
Press Coming, Maybe or Not coming for each one. The league's page, with every game and score, is linked from the card.
Volunteering
If the season asks for volunteer hours, it says how many for your child, and what you have given and booked.
Press Take this job for one. I can’t do it now, before the day, frees it for somebody else.
Offering to coach
Where the club is asking, Offer to coach is under the season. You don't need a child playing. Say when you can't, before the teams are made.
Common questions
Why can't I sign my child up?
Your child may fit no group, or every group may be full: ask the club. A viewer cannot sign up, so ask the parent who books.
Can I change my mind after signing up?
Yes, until your child is placed on a team. Press Take back on the sign-up.
Who sees that I asked for help with the fee?
Only the people at the club who handle fees. Not the coaches, and not other families.
