Open sessions

1. Read the line under the heading: it says how your club hands sessions over.
2. Find a session you can cover. A greyed one says why you cannot take it.
3. Press Take it.
4. Put one up yourself by mistake? Press Take it off the board beside it.

The line under the heading is your club's rule.

• First to take it gets it. It is yours the moment you press.
• Ask for one and the club will confirm it. It is not yours until they do.
• If the club staffs its own sessions, nothing here is yours to pick up.

Some clubs confirm every change of coach, even first come, first served. The line then adds The club confirms every change before it takes effect.

Its name and time, and how it got here. Either a coach cannot work it, a coach wants to trade it for another session, or The club has opened it. Any note they left is shown.

A session somebody has already asked for says so.

Nothing going spare. means the board is empty.

Take it either gives you the session at once, and it appears on Today, or asks the club. The message says which.

The coach who put it up stays on it until it settles, so it is never left uncovered.

"Somebody got there first." means another coach took it a moment before you.

Coaches who could take a session, being free then and allowed to take sessions, are emailed when it goes up.

A greyed session says why:

• you are on another session at the same time
• you marked yourself away
• it is outside the hours you said you can work
• it would take you over the club's weekly cap
• paperwork the club needs is missing or has run out

Only the club can put you on a session past one of these, from the session on its schedule.

A session you put up says This one is already yours. Take it off the board brings it back down, and you stay on it.

Once somebody has taken it, it can no longer come down.
