Closures

Shut the venue or one space for a holiday or repairs, so no sessions are made or booked into that time.

Do this

  1. Under Close the venue or a space, say Why, like "Thanksgiving".
  2. Pick Where, and under Just one space a single court or room if it is not the whole venue.
  3. Set From day and From time, and Until day and Until time.
  4. Press Close it. Open each session it lists and call it off.
  5. To reopen the time, press Lift beside it under Coming up.

Coming up

Every closure still to come: its reason, where, and from when to when. All of a venue means the whole place is shut.

Lift beside one takes it away, and the time is open again.

Lifting a closure does not bring back a session you called off for it. Add a one-off session if it runs after all.

Close the venue or a space

Why is the reason, kept short. Where is the venue. Just one space closes one court or room and leaves the rest open; it only shows once the club has spaces.

From time starts at midnight. Leave Until day blank for the same day, and Until time blank to close through the end of the day.

Sessions already in that time

A closure does not cancel what is already on the schedule. After Close it, the sessions inside the closure are listed, each linking to the session.

Open each one and use Call this session off, so the families booked on it are told.

Rentals in that time are not cancelled either. A renter with an email on file is emailed.

Common questions

Does a closure cancel the sessions already booked?

No. It lists them for you. Open each one and call it off, which emails the families and gives the session back on their pack.

How do I close just one court?

Pick it under Just one space. That field appears once the club has set up spaces under Facilities.

Who can add a closure?

Owners, admins, directors and managers: whoever runs the schedule.
