Straight to the bracket The Ironwood Knockout at Ironwood Gymnasium — 4 courts, 64 teams across eight divisions of eight, each seeded by skill level and going straight to its own single-elimination bracket, no pool play. 30-minute games starting at 9am, $50 per team — fastest way to a champion. The Schedule Nightmare (we handle it anyway) The Westfield Mega Classic at Westfield Sports Center — 8 courts, 52 teams across mixed pool sizes: eight 4-team pools and four 5-team pools. 40-minute games starting at 8am, $150 per team. Small gym, real tournament The Oakmont Neighborhood Classic at Oakmont Elementary — just 2 courts, 16 teams, boys 3rd grade, four pools of four, round robin. 35-minute games starting at 9am, $40 per team. A full 6-court weekend The Cedar Hill Classic at Cedar Hill Sports Complex — 6 courts, 48 teams, girls 6th-7th grade, eight pools of six, round robin only. 40-minute games starting at 8am, $175 per team. Three sites, one tournament The Regional Fall Championship across three sites — Main Arena (6 courts), Eastside Gym (4 courts), and Westside Rec (2 courts), 12 courts total, 96 teams, boys and girls 5th through 8th grade: eight 6-team pools at Main Arena, eight 4-team pools at Eastside, four 4-team pools at Westside. 40-minute games starting at 8am, $200 per team. Real constraints, still resolved The Fairview Invitational at Fairview Sports Complex — 6 courts, 36 teams, girls 5th-6th grade, six pools of six. Coach Ramirez also runs the 6th grade team — they can never play at the same time. Two other teams have a standing rivalry and shouldn't be scheduled back to back. 40-minute games starting at 8am, $150 per team.
