Delete Your Account
Effective September 4, 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your TourneyMind account and the personal data associated with it, and what that request does and does not remove. It applies to any account — Tournament Director, coach, or team administrator — created by email and password or by email sign-in link.
1. How to request deletion
Email the address below from the address on your account, and say you want your account deleted. We may need to verify your identity first — by confirming the email on file, or asking a follow-up question about your account or a tournament you organized — before acting on the request, to keep someone else from deleting your account for you.

2. What gets deleted
Once a request is verified, we delete the personal information tied to your account’s sign-in — your login credentials, and the name, email address and phone number stored on your account itself. Deleting this may make it impossible to sign back in or to continue directing an event through that account, which is an expected consequence of the request, not a side effect we’re warning you away from.
3. What is kept, and why
Deleting your account does not erase a tournament’s historical record. A schedule, its results, and a roster’s player names and jersey numbers are shared information that families, coaches and other participants relied on at the time — they remain part of that tournament’s record independent of any one account.
- Signed participation waivers are kept as long-term records regardless of an account deletion request — a Tournament Director may need to produce one long after an event, so these are not deleted as a matter of routine.
- Payment and transaction records are retained as required for financial recordkeeping, tax, fraud-prevention and legal purposes. We never store full card numbers ourselves — Stripe processes and holds those directly.
- Records we’re legally required to keep, for as long as that requirement applies.
We have not yet set a fixed retention period for the account and contact information described in Section 2 above — our Privacy Policy says the same thing, and we’ll update both pages together once one is set.
